June 12 Adult League Games Re-Scheduled:
June 12, 2008 league games have been cancelled and moved to July 10, 2008. This includes Thursday Men’s Church D & E leagues and the Thursday Women’s Open league.

Dear Softball Parent,
The Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency (CRPA) is pleased to be offering Cherokee Youth Softball once again in Spring 2008 as we will be celebrating our two year anniversary at Twin Creeks. Attached you will find the Cherokee Youth Softball registration form. Please make sure all blanks are completed and are correct.
Mail-in registration for the Spring 2008 league will begin on November 5, 2007 and walk-in registration will be taken starting on January 3, 2008 through Friday, February 8, 2008. The hours of registration at the Recreation Center will be Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm. You may call 770-924-7768 regarding extended office hours for registration.
The CYS Handbook for 2008 will be available during player assessments on Saturday, February 9th. Additional information regarding the league may be found on our website at www.crpa.net.
Please note on the registration form that the Age Control Date is January 1, 2008, so register accordingly. A copy of your child’s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. No registration will be allowed without documentation.
A reminder that players will NOT be allowed to play for CYS and another association or team (i.e., Cherokee Pride, East Cobb, Atlanta Vipers, SCRA, NCYS, etc.) during the same season. No refunds will be given after teams have been drafted.
Twin Creeks Softball Complex at Biello Park is the home park for CYS, but any CRPA facility may be used if necessary for practice/games. All dates, days, times and leagues are subject to change due to inclement weather and/or number of players. Player assessments will be held at Twin Creeks on the following date:

ALL PLAYERS are to report 30 minutes prior to their scheduled time for check-in.
